What do my credit card results show?

Our results tables include several columns allowing you to sort and compare credit cards in a variety of ways:

Issuer: displays the credit card company and the card name.

Balance Transfers: displays the balance transfer interest rate (%) and the duration that rate will apply to the balance you transfer from your existing credit card. This column will also show the balance transfer fee (if applicable) that may be incurred when you transfer your existing balance to a new credit card.

Intro Purchases: displays the introductory rate (%) and the period it is available for new purchases.

Cashback/Rewards: displays the maximum percentage rate of cashback available. For more information click on "Details" and open up the "Incentives" information.

Typical APR: This is the Annual Percentage Rate. The Consumer Credit Act 1974 requires companies that advertise loans or credit cards to state what the APR is. This enables you to compare rates and to see the true rate of interest repayment you would incur over a full year.

Card Benefits: With so many cards in the market place this column lists the key benefits of the card. This may include the introductory balance transfer/purchase rates and any other important information we think you may require to make a decision. You may view all the benefits a credit card offers by clicking on "Details" and opening up the "Incentives" information

Next Steps: clicking on the "Info" button will transfer you to the credit card provider's website where you will be able to complete the application for your chosen credit card.

At the top of the results table you have the options to refine your results further.
