Yorkshire Building Society claims it has a mortgage for everyone

Yorkshire Building Society claims it has a mortgage for everyone
Yorkshire Building Society claims to have a mortgage deal to suit everyone in its latest range.

According to the bank, mortgages should be tailored to people's needs, something it has aimed to achieve with its new range.

Tom Girling, mortgage product manager at the Yorkshire, said: "It's important to ensure that borrowers know what suits their needs when they shop around for a mortgage and to remember that there's usually a lot more on offer than the latest trend or the one in the window."

He added that when choosing a mortgage he always encourages customers to look beyond the headline rate and consider the overall deal.

The range includes both fixed rate mortgages from 2.69 per cent and tracker rates from 2.29 per cent.

Last month, it was reported that Yorkshire Building Society had launched a new two-year fixed-rate mortgage on to the market, available at 2.89 per cent.
