Women more money-driven than men?

Women more money-driven than men?
Women could be more inclined to look for the best savings rates than their male counterparts, if new research is anything to go by.

According to a study carried out by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, 68 per cent of females said that they felt they were money-driven, though just 47 per cent of men shared this opinion about themselves.

Of those who believed they held this characteristic, regardless of gender, 34 per cent said they did so as they believed that 'money equals success'.

Furthermore, the research found that more than half of females believe they deserve to earn more than men in a workplace.

Males do not seem to have many quarrels about this, with 62 per cent of this gender believing both genders should be given equal opportunities regarding income.

Mark Pearson, chairman of MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, noted: "I think there's a general stereotype that men are more money-driven than women, but this research has shown that really isn't the case."

The study comes soon after separate research by the organisation acknowledged that many Brits rate money as being more important than their health.
