The Nottingham launches new savings account for regular depositors

The Nottingham launches new savings account for regular depositors
The Nottingham has offered a new high-interest savings account designed for those looking to save 'a little and often'.

Launched last week, the Fixed Rate Regular Saver offers a guaranteed interest rate of five per cent, fixed until February 2011.

According to the firm, it enables anyone over the age of 16 to build up a nest egg by setting aside regular savings.

A maximum of £100 can be paid into the account – which can be opened with just a £10 deposit - every month.

The Nottingham's Clare Roberts said the account represents "an excellent" opportunity for consumers seeking the best savings interest rates.

"As well as providing flexibility it also offers a very attractive rate of interest, that is guaranteed," she stated.

Northern Rock recently launched two new issues of its Fixed Rate Bond, offering interest on savings for a minimum deposit of £1.ADNFCR-2088-ID-19583836-ADNFCR
