Opinion:

More than 47 million homes and 2.2 million businesses are suitable for smart metering, this technology could allow you to help reduce your costs, cut carbon emissions and get proper control over when, where and how you use your electricity and gas.

Bglobal to our knowledge is the only listed company that provides this service, it is easily the biggest at the moment and certainly attracting attention from big utility providers as well as businesses. New customers in the first half of the year that signed up included Yorkshire Building Society, Marriot Hotels, Schuh and Superdrug. The biggest and most impressive deal to date though is With Gazprom, for which they will supply and install smart electricity meters for all the Russian companies UK business customers.

Monthly targets are being beaten and in September 4,000 meters were installed and talks are underway to increase monthly completions. It is still early days within this sector but certainly worth the gamble getting on board now.

Bglobal trades on the AIM market and cannot be purchased in an ISA.
