Santander Zero credit card 'can help limit holiday debts'

Santander Zero credit card \'can help limit holiday debts\'
Families wishing to take holidays during the October half-term break can avoid running up debts by using the Santander Zero credit card, it has been claimed.

Commenting after the bank reported that the cost of holidaying this week jumps by up to 249 per cent, Santander Cards director Emma Roberts said parents face "a massive premium" if they want to take their children away during the school holidays.

She said that for those parents who are worried about the ever mounting costs of going abroad when the kids are off school, the Santander Zero card is "a great way" to avoid paying additional and sometimes unexpected fees.

"With no foreign exchange fee on spending abroad, it's the ideal credit card for families looking for the best deal on their holiday spending," Ms Roberts stated.

Consumers who do have significant outstanding bills to pay should seek free debt advice, according to the Citizens Advice Bureau.ADNFCR-2088-ID-19428352-ADNFCR
