Principality offers market-leading savings rate

Principality offers market-leading savings rate
Principality Building Society has launched a new eSAVER account offering market-leading savings interest rates.

The e-SAVER Issue 4 account offers customers a return of 2.85 per cent AER from the day of opening.

In addition, savers can enjoy a conditional introductory bonus of 1.20 per cent above the normal savings interest rates payable for the first year the account is open.

Open to new and existing customers, anyone over the age of 16 can open the market-leading account with as little as £1 and up to £1,000,000.

"Whilst the Society remains committed to its physical presence on the high streets of Wales, we also understand the growing consumer demand for competitive online-only products which customers can service on their own terms," said Kate Murray, savings manager at Principality Building Society.

She explained that an online account gives savers the freedom to manage their money and offers them total control of their funds.

Earlier this month Halifax launched a new web-based saver offering a variable rate of 2.80 per cent AER.ADNFCR-2088-ID-800500086-ADNFCR
