Tune in with your Citi card

Additional Services

Use your Citi Platinum MasterCard - charging 17.9% APR (variable) - and you can earn iTunes music points with your everyday purchases. You can then use these points for iTunes music downloads - or even save for an iPod nano!

Whilst you can earn 1 point for every £1 you spend on your Citi Platinum MasterCard, you can also receive a 2,000 point bonus (worth £15) if you make £250 worth of purchases within the first 3 months of having your credit card. A 3% service fee will apply to each balance transfer you make (subject to a minimum of £5), where applicable.

For those with less than 2000 points you only need 150 points before you can start to redeem them. Providing your download purchase is equal to or greater than the value of your points balance you can purchase iTunes Music Downloads in the normal way by visiting www.itunes.com/store. Citi will then credit your account with the value of the iTunes download, up to the maximum allowed by your points balance, and adjust your points balance accordingly. Hence, 1 track at 79p will require 150 points.

A music video (£1.89) on the other hand will require 400 points, while for 1 album (£7.99) it will be 1,500 points.

If you have 2,000 points or more you'll be eligible for an iTunes Music Card (£15: 2000 points), or possibly an iPod Nano (£99: 15,000 points).
