NatWest launches 2008 student package

NatWest has confirmed details of its 2008 Student Package offering both financial benefits and incentives, including the 5-Year 16-25 Railcard, worth £120. This card gives students a one third discount on most rail fares across Britain every time it's used, with an average saving of £122 a year. The Railcard can now also be used to take advantage of special discounts at hundreds of retailers including Topshop and Topman, Domino's Pizza and OFFICE.

The 2008 student package also includes an interest-free negotiable overdraft facility: 1st year - £1250, 2nd year - £1400, 3rd year - £1600, 4th year - £1800, 5th year - £2000, interest-free.

In addition, the NatWest Student account offers £100 off an ASUS laptop and £50 off 3 Mobile Broadband. And all Students opening an account online before October 31st will receive a free Microsoft Lifecam so that they can keep in touch with friends and family back home.

The bank has also confirmed it will be launching a new dedicated student website at www.natwest.com/students for those looking for additional information.
