More Miles with your credit card

MBNA and Miles & More have announced the introduction of a new credit card - the Miles & More American Express Credit Card from MBNA offering users the chance to earn Miles & More award miles, which can be redeemed for flight, upgrade and travel awards; and for a wide range of non travel related goods.

Card members earn 3 award miles for every £1 spent on the card during the first 6 months from the account opening date and 2 award miles per £1 spent thereafter.

In addition, new card members will receive a welcome bonus of 6,000 award miles when they make their first card purchase within 90 days of their account opening.

Another benefit is that by holding a Miles & More credit card, customers' award miles will no longer expire, giving them the flexibility to redeem their miles whenever they like.

The new Miles & More American Express Credit Card from MBNA offers 0% p.a. on balance transfers for the first 12 months from the date the account is opened (3% handling fee applies), plus 0 % on card purchases for the first 3 months.

After the introductory period the card will revert to a typical rate of 15.9% APR (variable).
