Capital One is offering consumers a new rewards package through its Cashback with World MasterCard credit card.
The Capital One Cashback with World MasterCard credit card offers consumers a 4% cashback on all purchases for the first three months and 1% cashback on all purchases thereafter. The card has a 15.9% APR typical variable.
In addition to the cashback rate, cardholders can take advantage of a range of World MasterCard travel benefits including free travel insurance and travel assistance, which provides customers with advice to help to resolve travel, legal or medical emergencies while they are abroad. If a customer loses their travel documents while on holiday the travel assistance service will help source replacement documents. It will also provide an advancement of funds should a customer lose their card abroad to ensure they can still afford the essentials. Cardholders can also use the travel assistance service for pre-trip advice on inoculations, visas and exchange rates.
The card also includes Capital One's Identity Theft Service, which helps customers protect themselves against ID theft, and to help resolve any issues that are caused if they do get caught out. A named advisor is provided for free to offer help at every stage of the recovery and resolution process.
