New ISA launched by Yorkshire Building Society

New ISA launched by Yorkshire Building Society
Yorkshire Building Society has launched a new fixed-rate ISA through its Chelsea Building Society brand which offers savers the best fixed-rate savings interest rates on the market.

Available at a very competitive four per cent interest rate, the new ISA allows savers the opportunity to invest up to £5,100.

Savers who take up the account will also be able to transfer money to the ISA from existing ISA's in branch or via Chelsea's online money management facility.

Product manager Lynne Pepper said: "Maturing in May 2014 this Chelsea product is an excellent example of our continued commitment to provide excellent savings opportunities for our customers."

She added that the building society will also be allowing customers a one-off opportunity to renew their investment for next year at the same savings interest rate guaranteeing a four per cent rate for a further three years.

Fidelity International recently urged British savers to take full advantage of the tax breaks offered by ISAs as other taxes increase.
