New Chelsea deals designed to improve saver options

New Chelsea deals designed to improve saver options
Chelsea Building Society has launched a new 'Refreshingly Traditional' savings range in a bid to meet the needs of its customers.

The lender said it wanted to enable customers to choose an account best suited to their personal circumstances, whether they desire money locked away or for it to be more easily accessible.

It claimed that many people were losing out financially after being forced to withdraw money from fixed-rate accounts they opened on the basis of the rate.

Chelsea's new range includes instant access, fixed-rate, Cash ISA and children's savings accounts, plus the Postal 30 Cash ISA.

Jenny Hudd, savings product manager at the society, said it was committed to offering competitive rates and personal service across its range.

"We are seeking to encourage people to choose the right account for their needs, whether that is instant access, tax free savings, or being able to set money aside - and leave it there - for a longer term," she added.
