Natwest & RBS reduce mortgage rates
Natwest and RBS will reduce
mortgage rates by up to 0.50 per cent across a range of deals up to 60 per loan to value LTV.
The new rates, which start tomorrow October 19th, are designed to give new customers looking to purchase a property or remortgage the best
mortgage rates on the market.
Mortgage rates on the bank's two-year fixed-rate products will be reduced to 2.75 per cent for mortgages with a £699 fee and 2.95 per cent for the fee free offering.
Craig Calder, head of NatWest mortgages, said: "Many people remain on their Standard Variable Rate SVR, unaware that some of the best tracker and fixed rates are now lower than their SVR."
He added that the bank is confident that the new range of mortgages and rate reductions will offer customers great choice as well as saving as saving them money each month.
Earlier this month Natwest and RBS launched a series of new
mortgage rates, including a fee-free two-year fixed-rate offering a rate of 2.75 per cent for new customers remortgaging with a 50 per cent loan to value LTV.
