Moneyextra, the UK's longest-established personal finance website, is now under new management committed to building the online brand. The website is being backed with fresh investment and a renewed commitment to presenting a compelling online solution to site users.
Their aim is to maximise the potential of the existing site offering whilst expanding the services offered through the acquisition of other leading online businesses. A new company has been established to operate the Moneyextra website and bring businesses together.
The new company will trade as Moneyextra.com Limited. John Elder, principal, has a wealth of experience in financial services lead generation, utilities and web businesses.
John Elder, said, "Moneyextra is a strong, award-winning online brand and we believe we have a positive opportunity to build on the established roots of Moneyextra as one of the UK's leading, most respected financial information websites.

The creation of the new group follows a strategic review of operations by AWD Group Plc which concluded that Moneyextra's long-term future was best served in a business with an online focus rather than as part of an independent financial advisory firm.
