Mobile working makes mobile living a possibility

Mobile working makes mobile living a possibility
The advent of mobile internet means that working while on the move is a distinct possibility and that is the exact reason why entrepreneur Jim Rogerson decided to get a motorhome.

When Mr Rogerson realised he could work from anywhere in the world, he saw a motorhome as the best way to combine his passion for travelling with the necessity of the daily grind.

Speaking to the Press and Journal, Mr Rogerson said: "Everyone always has an opinion. Every time you do something different, people look at it suspiciously."

"Some admire us for what we've done, some think we're mad. You'll never please everyone."

He told the news provider that as motorhomes are still classed as cars, no special qualifications are needed to get behind the wheel of one.

And fully comprehensive motorhome insurance that covers damage and theft anywhere in Europe can be picked up for around £600, he noted.

Mr Rogerson concluded that the only downside was the pricey fuel bill as motorhomes tend to do around 12-14 miles to the gallon - but he added that it was still cheaper than paying a mortgage.

Recently motorhome insurance provider Admiral warned that drivers are becoming increasingly complacent about the security of their vehicles' contents.ADNFCR-2088-ID-19542674-ADNFCR
