Lender launches free mortgage competition

Lender launches free mortgage competition
Homeowners seeking cheap mortgages can go one better with Santander this month, as the lender is offering lucky competition winners the chance to win free repayments for a whole year.

Consumers applying for, or holding an existing mortgage with Santander, are to be entered into a prize draw to have their mortgage repayments paid for 12 months.

All they are required to do is request a full Santander home insurance quote.

Miguel Sard, director at Santander Insurance UK, said the bank was offering "a great opportunity" for someone to be mortgage-free for a year, at the cost of a simple enquiry.

"In the current climate, offers like this are few and far between and we would encourage homeowners to make the most of the chance of this opportunity," he stated.

Earlier this week, Santander launched a new range of fixed-rate bonds paying up to 3.75 per cent gross/AER.ADNFCR-2088-ID-19647806-ADNFCR
