Home builder Barratt offers first company Isa account
A home building firm has teamed up with Legal & General to offer the UK's first company Isa account.

Barratt is enabling its staff to access ten different investment funds in a tax-free Isa wrapper.

Employees will be able to save up to £10,200 in the stocks and shares account every year, with contributions through payroll deductions possible.

Staff at Barratt will also be able to take advantage of lower management charges.

Jayne Mee, people and customer experience director at Barratt Developments, said: "We are continually looking to improve the benefits and rewards we offer to our employees and that is why we are excited to be launching the first ever corporate Isa.

"They will be able to take advantage of low management fees and make payments from payroll deductions as part of this highly competitive way of saving for the future."

The annual Isa allowance increased from £7,200 to £10,200 at the start of the 2010-11 financial year.ADNFCR-2088-ID-19863261-ADNFCR
