First direct launches new mortgage range
Lender first direct has launched a range of
cheap mortgages designed to give customers more flexibility and choice.
The mortgage firm has changed the structure of its home loan offerings to give customers more clarity about products, enabling them to make a more informed decision about what deal is right for them.
It has also worked to accommodate the needs of those looking for cheap mortgages by removing a number of its upfront fees.
Home loans with the firm are now categorised as Standard, Fee Free and Limited Edition, with the Standard loans offering one basic booking or arrangement fee with rates available at 65 per cent and 75 per cent loan to value LTV.
"It's clear that customers can sometimes find choosing a mortgage difficult. We've organised our range to give customers the flexibility to choose between rate, fee and LTV depending on their personal circumstances," said Richard Tolchard, senior mortgage product manager at first direct.
Leeds Building Society has meanwhile launched a two year discount mortgage with LTVs of 85 per cent.
