Euro insight with Insight?

Insight Investment - part of HBOS - is launching a new Euro-denominated multi-manager absolute return fund, the Insight Global Diversified Return Fund GDR. This actively managed, multi-asset, global fund, aims to provide a positive return for investors under ALL market conditions.

GDR will have a long-term objective of providing equity-like returns with a risk profile usually associated with global bonds over a full market cycle and is designed to appeal to a wide range of retail, high net-worth and institutional investors.

It will take advantage of the flexibility afforded by its UCITS III fund of funds structure to achieve its investment objective.

Specifically, it will invest across a wide range of asset classes including fixed income, cash, equities, property, commodities and certain types of absolute return products. It will also utilise a range of hedging strategies with the aim of reflecting investment views more precisely and reducing downside risk.

Minimum investment is 10,000 euros - charges set at 5.25% initial, 1% annual.

There is also a performance-related fee of 10% of the outperformance of the cash benchmark in operation.
