Direct Line kicks off 2010 with new insurance offers

Direct Line kicks off 2010 with new insurance offers
Insurance firm Direct Line has kicked off the New Year with two brand new offers.

The firm claims the deals will help customers save money on both their home and car insurance policies.

Car insurance customers who opt for a Direct Line deal can get up to 52 days of cover for free if they are new to the firm, as well as benefiting from a no-claims discount of up to 65 per cent.

This is a boon for consumers, especially in light of the recent claims made by AA Insurance Services, which said that the cost of car cover has risen by 14 per cent in the past 12 months.

For people looking to renew their home insurance policy, Direct Line is offering 12 months for the price of nine on its buildings, contents and combined insurance policies.

Those taking on new home insurance cover with the firm will also be entitled to a free home emergency policy, which covers call-outs, parts and labour for emergencies involving plumbing, drainage, wiring or security problems.ADNFCR-2088-ID-19544922-ADNFCR
