If you live in the South West of England, then you may well feel that there is little available in terms of debt advice, since towns and cities tend to have more problems with debt. However, this could hardly be further from the truth. In the South West of the UK there is a great deal of debt/dispute advice available, free of charge!

Although historically towns and cities were the hotspots in terms of debt, since the credit crunch has hit everyone, there have been lots of problems with people in rural areas finding that increasingly they are getting into more and more debt.

This difference between income and outgoings has led to people being caught in the poverty trap, so poverty and debt in the South West of England are much more widespread than people realise and with high levels of poverty and debt, so there is a need for people to gain advice on getting out of debt. That is why there are so many debt advice agencies in the South West of England, so it is not a paradise; it is simply a place that people have to live and work in and for many it can be an expensive place to live.

But the main point to bear in mind is that there are lots of agencies just waiting to help, so allow them to do the best for you that they can!
