Debt management is not something that is limited to only a few agencies or organisations, there is a whole network of debt advice agencies available for people to be able to start and take control of their finances.
Indeed debt advice is now actually quite big business and it is not just limited to debt management bureau or advice shops, there are lots of different types of agencies offering expert and help, on a variety of topics all related to debt advice, so it doesn’t matter if you are looking for advice on debt consolidation, debt recovery, how to avoid bankruptcy or any other debt topic, there is an agency out there to assist.
The whole debt advice network sprang up as a reaction to meeting the genuine needs of people who were in debt and who needed to have a local debt advice bureau or office, to guide them through the process of getting out of debt. Even 10 or 15 years ago there were very few debt management agencies around, with the main focus for debt management solutions being people who had basic training at the Citizen’s Advice Bureau.
However, since then debt has escalated in the UK as a whole. More and more people have been finding that getting into debt happened very suddenly and without warning. First they borrowed to make ends meet and then their circumstances changed and instead of being able to meet all their financial commitments, they found that they were actually sinking ever more into debt.
So instead of their just being one local debt advice bureau that people can access, there is now, literally a debt advice network, from John O Groats to Land’s End, which exists with only one aim: to help people get out of debt and ensure that they take control of their money and financial position!
