Aviva launches online work benefits service

Aviva launches online work benefits service
Aviva has added to its presence in the workplace savings market by launching Total Reward Statements, which allow employees to monitor the benefits provided by their employer.

Workers looking for the best interest savings rates will be able to use the service alongside group personal pensions.

Aviva's service will give staff a personal statement of their benefits package including salary, bonus, pension, medical insurance, health screening, life and critical illness insurance, car allowance and holiday.

Paul Goodwin, head of pensions marketing at Aviva, said: "Aviva's Total Reward Statement is ideal for employees because it enables them to better understand the value of their workplace benefits; the advantage for employers is that it improves staff engagement."

He added that an increasing number of employers are taking up the scheme as they enter the workplace savings market and Aviva expects this growth to continue in the coming years.

A recent study by Defaqto found that only 40 per cent of professionals are saving for later life and 20 per cent have not savings to rely on when they retire.
