Halifax Home Insurance has extended its 'Beat and Freeze' offer on home buildings and contents cover until the end of 2007, meaning that it will aim to beat any competitor's renewal quote and also freeze customers' premiums until 2010. The insurer claims customers saved an average of £113 when they switched their home insurance to it in August 2007.
The 'Beat and Freeze' offer is available by telephone or from Halifax branches nationwide.
In addition to the 'Beat and Freeze' offer a further 10% discount on premiums is available for existing Halifax Travel Insurance customers who take advantage of the offer.
There is also a 15% discount for customers who have a Halifax Ultimate Reward Account.
