Direct Line is offering homeowners the benefit of 12 months' home insurance for the price of 9 on buildings, contents cover or both, making a saving of 25% on their premium. With immediate effect customers can either make a one off payment or spread the cost over 12 months, but still only pay for 9.
Features of the policy include replacement of new-for-old as standard, garden cover up to the value of £1,000, and to £1,000,000 buildings cover as standard.
If you buy both buildings insurance and contents insurance you'll also receive 50% off contents insurance and free European annual travel cover for you and your family. However, the travel offer excludes over 64s, as well as individuals with pre-existing medical conditions.
