At Moneyextra.com Ltd, we do our best to ensure that any information, data, services, systems, articles, bulletins and other content published from time to time on the Website (“Content”) is accurate and complete. However, neither we nor our suppliers warrant that the Content is accurate or complete.

Furthermore, certain information on the Website is provided by third parties and you acknowledge that neither we nor our suppliers have any control over the accuracy or completeness of such third party data.

We therefore recommend that you check the accuracy and completeness of any Content with an independent financial adviser before purchasing any financial products or services.

All warranties whether express or implied under law (including, without limitation, any warranties in relation to the Content, information, data, services, interrupted use, errors, omissions, delays, termination of service, loss of data for any reason, fitness of purpose, infringement of third party property rights) are hereby expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Termination and withdrawal of your ID and Password

We reserve the right to cancel your ID and Password or terminate the provision of the Website and Content (or any part thereof) to you without notice or reason.

You must not at any time:

• prevent, restrict or inhibit any other user from using the Website or Content ;
• post or transmit on the Website any unlawful, fraudulent, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, profane, threatening, abusive, hateful, offensive, or otherwise objectionable information, content or materials of any kind (including, without limitation, any transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes of conduct or market conventions);

You are reminded that when you enter a Third Party Website by means of hypertext links from the Website, you will be subject to the terms and conditions of the Third Party Website you are entering. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of use are governed by the laws of England and Wales and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Transfer of Moneyextra.com Ltd

If the business of Moneyextra.com Ltd is transferred to another provider for any reason, we may transfer to the new provider any information which we have obtained from you in connection with your use of the Website, providing the new provider undertakes (in terms which are enforceable by you) to hold it in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

We may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads on our behalf. Personalised credit card recommendations

Callcredit Limited (“we/us”) is a UK consumer credit reference agency. A credit reference agency collects and stores details about you and your personal credit history.

Lenders, including banks, building societies and other financial service providers, share credit information about their customers with us. The information we receive is used to create your credit report.

When you select ‘Submit’, you are instructing us to provide your credit report to HD Decisions Ltd (“HD”). HD has been appointed as a processing agent for MoneyExtra and a number of credit card providers. HD will (on behalf of such credit providers) analyse key elements of your credit file, in order to determine your current financial standing.  The analysis of your credit file will be used by HD to identify and rank credit card offers in order of appropriateness for your circumstances (but this does not necessarily guarantee that there will be appropriate credit card offers available to you).  This ranked list of offers will then be displayed on the next page.  You will then have the opportunity to apply for a credit card directly with the credit card company should you choose to do so.

Please note no your credit file will not be provided to you directly, nor will any information be passed to any credit card provider at any point during this process (unless you subsequently agree to this).  The information will be used by HD, at your request, on your behalf, to find the most appropriate credit card offers for you. 

This process will not have any adverse impact upon your credit standing. By selecting ‘Submit’, you are not committing to make an application for a credit card.  If you choose to proceed to apply for a credit card from the ranked list of offers, then the credit card company will proceed to carry out their own identification and credit application checks.

Please note that the provision of your credit report to ‘HD’ is subject to the Callcredit Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”)

You agree that the personal details you supply to us will be used for the purposes of:

• verifying your identity in order to ensure that we are providing your credit report in accordance with your instructions;
• providing services to our clients in which your personal details are used to assist with identity verification, prevention of fraud/money laundering, service delivery and process implementation;

HD Decisions Ltd are a trusted partner of MoneyExtra.com who provide financial analytical insight tools to a number of financial institutions in the UK Marketplace.

Amendments

From time to time, we may change the Terms of Use, the Disclaimer, the Privacy Policy and any other terms and conditions applicable to the Website or to any services offered by Moneyextra.com Ltd. By using the Website and such services, you are deemed to have accepted any such changes.

Equifax is a UK credit reference agency. A credit reference agency is a company that collects personal information from various sources and provides that personal information for a variety of uses (including to prospective lenders of credit for the purposes of those lenders making credit decisions about their prospective customers). Providers of the personal information that we hold about you include; lenders such as banks or building societies who may provide us with credit information that they hold about you. Other sources of information that may be provided to us about you are; information from the Electoral Register and County Court judgments and bankruptcies. When data providers share this personal information with us, we use the information to create a credit report about you.

By ticking the Consent Terms & Conditions box you are instructing us to supply your personal information to HD Decisions Ltd (“HD Decisions”) via the Moneyextra website at www.moneyextra.com. HD Decisions has been appointed as a processing agent on behalf of Moneyextra and a number of lenders. HD Decisions will on behalf of Moneyextra and the lenders, analyse your credit information to determine your financial status and use your information for the purposes of identifying and ranking the most appropriate credit products for you, taking into account your personal circumstances. You will then be given the opportunity to apply to a lender directly for one of those ranked credit products.

When you view the ranked list of credit products, by selecting ‘Next’, you are not committing to apply for credit. However if you do subsequently apply for credit from the ranked list of credit products, your credit information will be used by the relevant lender to assess your credit application and a credit search footprint will be recorded on your credit file. A credit search footprint may adversely affect your credit rating.

Equifax will not provide your credit information directly to you as part of this process, nor will Equifax or HD Decisions pass any of this information to any lender.

You may only request your own credit information. You may NOT request credit information on behalf of anyone else, even with their consent. You are advised that it may be a criminal offence under Section 55 of the Data Protection Act 1998 to do so in certain circumstances.

Equifax will record details of your request to supply your credit information to HD Decisions in the form of a Consumer Enquiry search footprint, but this footprint will not be seen by any lender and will not have any adverse impact on your credit rating.

You agree that your personal details and/or your credit information (“your information”) may be used by us to verify your identity. If we reasonably suspect that false or inaccurate information has been provided to us, we may pass your personal information to fraud prevention agencies and other law enforcement agencies who may access and use your information. We and other organisations may access and use your information for the purposes of the prevention of fraud and for anti-money laundering purposes. Examples of when your information may be accessed or used for these purposes are:

• Checking details on applications for credit or credit related facilities
• Managing credit and credit related accounts or facilities
• Recovering debt
• Checking details on proposals and claims for all types of insurance
• Checking details of job applicants and employees

We and other organisations may access and use from other countries the information recorded by fraud prevention agencies
