Backpacking

Under 36 and Looking for Adventure?

For many people, especially students, backpacking is the only way to travel. It gives you the chance to really experience the culture of the countries you visit, whether it's Europe, Australia, the America's or Asia. Understandably when planning a backpacking adventure, the first thing most travelers do is think about where they want to go. But arranging decent travel insurance is also crucial. Why? Think about what can happen while you're abroad. Hopefully it'll be an adventure, but you'll be visiting strange places where you may not even speak the language.

If you have the right backpacker's insurance, you'll be confident of knowing that should you fall ill or have an accident you'll be able to get the necessary medical treatment you need. Not every country has a free health service like we do in Britain and you could find yourself facing a hefty medical bill if you fall ill abroad without travel insurance.

There's also the risk of losing your personal possessions or having them stolen - insurance will allow you to replace them or will ensure that a loss doesn't become a financial crisis too.

Some travel insurance policy providers offer all-inclusive travel insurance whilst backpacking, including trip cancellation insurance. Other features include temporary car insurance, health insurance, medical insurance and prescription services.

Backpackers travel insurance and holiday insurance is good for all backpackers and people backpacking around the world, whether you have taken a gap year or are taking time out from your business, or just taking a holiday, vacation, working abroad or studying abroad as a student.
