Tenant
A tenant is someone who has the right to occupy property under the terms and conditions set out in a lease or rental agreement.
The tenant may be a person who pays rent to a landlord to occupy a flat for just a few months or in another context a tenant may be a property owner who holds a lease for say 100 years and pays ground rent to a freeholder
