Market Profile (MP)

This method of organising price action, created by Peter Steidlmayer, introduces a traditional statistical tool - the bell curve - to technical analysis, by using time as well as price.

MP can be applied successfully across a range of time frames by analysing the amount of time that a market spends trading at different price levels.

This charting method clearly displays price action differently to a line or bar or candlestick chart.
