Low APR Credit Cards, 0% APR Credit Cards


Zero interest credit cards are available from a number of credit card issuers. These 0 APR credit cards arent completely free however. While some may offer 0 APR for an introductory period on balance transfers they may still charge interest on new purchases. Others will offer zero interest on new purchases as well.

Most 0 APR credit cards will charge a fee for your balance transfer. You must remember to make your monthly credit card payments on time or you may find your introductory zero interest deal is jeopardised check your credit cards terms and conditions. Do be aware that zero interest credit cards will still require you to make regular monthly repayments.

If you are considering 0 APR credit cards you should take account of the go to interest rate that is the interest rate you will be charged by the credit card after the introductory period has ended. Will your card still count as being one of the low APR credit cards or will it suddenly look rather expensive.

You may prefer to look for credit cards that do not have a special introductory rate but instead offer a low APR over the long term. You may find that such low APR credit cards are more cost-effective for you depending on how you use them.
