The first thing to realise about the government's pension proposals - originally dubbed LISA in the national press - is that the final vehicle never bore that name.
Whilst the Government never professed to like the acronym anyway the principal reason why it was rejected by H.M. Treasury was that the name had already been registered as a trademark at the Patent Office back in October 1998 by Virgin Direct!
