The FTSE 250 Index
The FTSE 250 was created in 1992 as an index to reflect the movements of medium-sized companies sometimes referred to as beta stocks. The index is made up of the next 250 after the top 100 which make up the FTSE . Companies in the FTSE 250 are divided into their respective market sectors.
