Divorce. More than one-in-three marriages end in divorce. The issues surrounding divorce are more complex now than they've been.
Divorce law is undergoing a revolution. Some developments such as the Child Support Act 1991, the earmarking of pensions, the way in which courts deal with finance cases and increases in costs, have already taken place.
Changes to the process itself, including legal aid and mediation are yet to come.
