Morgan Stanley Credit Cards

The Morgan Stanley Credit Cards are no longer available to new customers.

Previously the Morgan Stanley credit cards come in two flavours: the Platinum card - available in black and grey - and the buy and fly! MasterCard which earned you air miles as you spend.

Search for the cheapest credit cards and apply online.

Balance transfers on the Platinum card were charged at the lower rate of 3.9% until July 2010. The Morgan Stanley credit card charged a variable interest rate which would vary according to your credit status.

The real bonus of the Platinum credit card was the free travel assistance and accident insurance the standard cashback of 1% was available on purchase of up to £2000 and 0.5% thereafter - with an introductory offer of earning 3% cash back for an initial period of five months. There was also no annual fee to the card.

The buy and fly! MasterCard did what it said on the tin. You got one travel point for every £10 spent on the card plus double points for the first six months and 200 points free when you open the credit card. These could be redeemed against flights with affiliated airlines.

The Morgan Stanley credit card offered 0% interest on balance transfers for nine months although a 2% balance transfer fee applied.
