Moneyextra.com Limited offers an online mortgage referral service. The use of this service is subject to the following terms of use.

Moneyextra.com Limited is an appointed representative of AWD Direct Ltd which is an independent mortgage intermediary, authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. AWD Chase de Vere is a trading name of AWD Direct Ltd. AWD Chase de Vere Ltd provides users with information and / or advice on mortgage products from the whole market, and offers two levels of service:

1. They will advise and make a recommendation for you after they have assessed your mortgage needs, or

2. You will not receive advice or a recommendation from them. They may ask you some questions to narrow down the selection of products that we will provide details on. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed.

At the start of any direct contact with you, they will discuss and agree the level of service you require, and send you an Initial Disclosure Document to confirm this.

The information, services, systems and data published by Moneyextra.com Limited are intended for general information only and should not be construed as advice. You may wish to consider seeking independent mortgage advice from AWD Chase de Vere or your usual financial adviser before concluding any binding contract.

We may receive fees from lenders with whom we place mortgages. You will receive a key facts illustration when considering a particular mortgage which will tell you about any fees relating to it.

If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, so you may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. Further details are contained in our Initial Disclosure Document.

Some mortgages (for example: most buy to let schemes, commercial mortgages, home reversion schemes, second mortgages) are not regulated by the Financial Services Authority, nor covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service and Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Moneyextra.com Limited and AWD Direct are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information. Moneyextra.com Limited and AWD Direct will collect, process and review all personal information supplied by you personally or by other suppliers in order that we may provide you with information about products and services which may be especially relevant to your needs and circumstances. AWD Direct Ltd is a data controller under the Data Protection Act 1998 and we will treat this information as private and confidential (even when you are no longer a user). Moneyextra.com Limited and AWD Direct Limited will however be permitted to disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:

• If we are required or permitted to do so by law,
• If the disclosure is made at your request or with your consent,
• To the other applicant if you make a joint application for a mortgage related product,
• To our insurers, sub-contractors or agents to the extent that they require your personal information in order that we may provide our service to you,
• To the lenders which you have selected to the extent that they need your personal information in order to process your application,
• To any actual or potential transferee or assignee of any interest in your mortgage (including their advisers, insurers or assignees)
• To credit reference agencies,
• To fraud prevention agencies and registers to assist in the prevention of fraud and the tracing of debtors,
• To our auditors, compliance advisers and to any regulatory authority to which we are subject,
• To other companies within the AWD group who will inform you of any products/services, which we think, may be of interest to you. You will be given the opportunity to indicate that you do not wish to be contacted by other companies within the AWD group should you actually provide us with your personal details.
• To third party suppliers who will inform you of any products/services, which we think, may be of interest to you. You will be given the opportunity to indicate that you do not wish to be contacted by other third party suppliers should you actually provide us with your personal details.
• Moneyextra.com Limited and AWD Direct may also provide you with information about special offers and some of our other products and services which may be especially relevant to your needs and circumstances. You will be given the opportunity to indicate that you do not wish to be contacted by us about special offers and some of our other products/services should you actually provide us with your personal details.
• We may use some of the personal information which you provide to monitor user traffic and to create statistics which will help us to review, develop and improve our service for the benefit of our users. We will not however link your name or address with any data we publish for statistical purposes. We may have certain responsibilities under the Criminal Justice Act 1993 and the Money Laundering Regulations to verify the identity of users by making certain enquiries. We may also supplement the information that you provide to us with information we receive from third parties.
